UNSCRAPPED came to life one summer when our founder, Buzzy, realised he could take the issues facing the fashion industry into his own hands.
Originally from London, he moved to Providence in late 2021 in order to grow his creative practice.
Having gained considerable knowledge in video, painting and sculpture, Buzzy’s art practice is multifaceted - but all these different mediums are united by his design thinking and problem solving skills.
He was given a small grant to set up UNSCRAPPED from RISD’s entrepreneurship society, becoming part of RISD E’SHIP’s 2022 cohort.
